SACRAMENTO-

With two dogs shot, city animal services say they may have a problem on their hands in the south Sacramento.

Within a few weeks of each other, two dogs were shot with a pellet gun.  One of the dogs is partially paralyzed and is going to a rescue soon.

“We are concerned,” Animal Care Services Manager Gina Knepp said.  “An isolated incident is possible, but now we have two.  What we want to do is prevent number three from occurring.”

And to do it, they are asking for tips or leads to help solve either case.

You can do so by calling (916) 808-5855.
