Who’s excited about the newly announced additions to the Star Wars: Episode VII saga?
As John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow join the relaunch of the George Lucas sci-fi franchise, one of the most enthused is Mark Hamill.

The original castmember, who is reprising his role as Luke Skywalker, tweeted his excitement on Thursday for the J.J. Abrams-helmed film of the franchise now owned by Disney, which also reunites Hamill with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
After the first table read, Hamill told fans, “I was knocked out by the diverse & extraordinarily talented new cast members. WOW they’re good! The saga is in superb hands.”
Several sources told The Hollywood Reporter that there is still another substantial role to fill — and it’s a female part. Filming is set to begin in London in a few weeks.
