Would you fly from Modesto to LA? The Modesto airport has launched a pledge drive to get support for a possible new nonstop flight.
According to the City of Modesto, a major airline is interested in providing service between Modesto City-County Airport and LAX, but wants to make sure the route will be successful if launched.
The city and airport are now collecting non-binding pledges to show the popularity of such a trip. If enough pledges are collected, the city has not said what the ‘magic’ number is, the new flights could begin this summer.
The pledge effort is called “DestinationLAX”, those interested can sign the pledge at DestinationLAX.com.
