We've found the perfect time-killer for the upcoming holiday weekend: a neat visualization of the 200 top-scoring posts on Reddit.
The interactive, color-coded visualization shows the subreddit of origin and lets you change the representation of the rectangles -- displaying the number of comments or overall score (number of upvotes) on Reddit.

For example, the second top-scoring Reddit post of all time, "The Bus Knight," has more than 21,000 upvotes. But when it comes to the number of comments, that post pales in comparison to this one asking Redditors to share their deepest secrets.
The visualization was created by James Trimble, a student studying computer science at the University of Glasgow in the UK. You can view his other visualizations here.
