Nick Cannon wears plenty of hats already as an actor, entertainer, television host and more. He can now add the title of director to his growing list of achievements with his upcoming directorial debut for the comedy film, School Dance.

Cannon‘s film focuses on high school student Jason Jackson, played by Bobb’e J. Thompson, who his sights set on his dream girl, Anastacia. Jason isn’t even a blip on Anastacia’s radar, so he decides to join the school’s most popular dance troupe to win her affections. Jason’s faces a few obstacles on the way, however. His overbearing mother, Anastacia’s gang-banging brother and actually making the dance crew team all stand in his way in getting attention from his potential beau.

Comedians Katt Williams, Mike Epps, George Lopez and others also  join the School Daze cast.
