A Bay Area man found out he was wanted for his alleged involvement in a shooting after he Googled himself, San Leandro Police said.

Christopher Viatafa, 27, came across a photo of his on the Northern California’s Most Wanted website on March 5 after looking up his name. He was wanted for allegedly firing a gun at a party at the San Leandro Senior Center on Aug 8, 2013.

No one was hit in the shooting. Police say Viatafa fired rounds into the ground after an argument at a private party.

Viatafa turned himself in after finding out he was wanted by the San Leandro Police Department.
