Paula Poundstone has signed with APA for talent and literary representation, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The comedian continues to be repped by WME for stand-up and other personal appearances.
Poundstone has starred in multiple stand-up specials, becoming the first woman to win a CableACE best comedy special award for 1990’s Cats, Cops and Stuff. She also has won an American Comedy Award and been named one of Comedy Central’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All-Time. Last year, she was honored with Moment Magazine’s Creativity Award.
Poundstone released her most recent CD, I Heart Jokes: Paula Tells Them in Boston, on April Fools’ Day of this year; she is a regular panelist on NPR’s weekly news quiz show “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me” and a frequent guest on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson. She also penned the humor book There Is Nothing in This Book That I Meant to Say in 2006 and is set to publish her second book via Algonquin.
Poundstone continues to be repped by Bonnie Burns at Burns & Burns Management.
