Supernatural is adding one more series regular.
The CW’s long-running drama has promoted Mark Sheppard to the main cast for season 10, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Sheppard joins series regulars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins.

Sheppard was first introduced as Crowley, the current King of Hell, in the middle of the fifth season in November 2009 and had been recurring ever since. Crowley was last seen in the season-nine finale, when he told Dean (Ackles) that he was entering a new life as a Demon.
The CW gave an early renewal to Supernatural in February but passed on proposed spinoff Supernatural: Bloodlines. Network president Mark Pedowitz told reporters earlier this month that he planned on developing another spinoff “once more next season.”
“What it is and what it isn’t is still in the air,” he said.
Sheppard is repped by The Artists Partnership and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
Supernatural returns in the fall in its 9 p.m. Tuesday time slot following The Flash.
