McKenzie is a 12-year-old who loves competing in pageants. McKenzie also suffers from life-threatening mitochondrial disease for which there is no cure. Mitochondrial disease can have devastating effects, such as loss of motor control, liver disease, respiratory complications, and cardiac disease. Still, this hasn't stopped McKenzie from living her dream.

Recently, McKenzie chose to enter a pageant and participate in the talent portion by dancing. Even though McKenzie uses a wheelchair and has limited movement, she was able to accomplish her goal of dancing on stage with some very special help from an important man in her life: her father.

McKenzie's dance was documented on video and the below clip shows not just how strong her spirit is, but how loving and supportive her family is as well. This is truly one of the most special father-daughter moments you will ever see.
