SACRAMENTO-
The Sacramento Zoo’s infant male Coquerel’s Sifaka lemur died Monday morning after a three day struggle with pneumonia.
When diagnosed with pneumonia on April 4th, the infant was rushed to the Sacramento Zoo’s Murray E. Fowler Veterinary Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit for treatment.
The infant had other health problems throughout his short life, including a struggle to maintain a healthy weight.
He was just a day over three months old.
