SACRAMENTO-

A taste of Sacramento is heading to India; the latest connection with the Asian country since Vivek Ranadive became owner of the Kings.

The Krrish Group, based in India, announced Friday a new partnership with Jimboy’s Tacos. They also announced plans to advertise the new relationship through in-arena, broadcast and digital advertising.

The partnership with Jimboy’s Tacos involves multiple new stores throughout India.

Since purchasing the Kings, Ranadive has directed a business philosophy that focuses investments in technology, globalization and community partnerships.

“I am thrilled that The Krrish Group shares our global vision and sees the economic potential of a partnership with the Kings,” said Ranadive in a statement Friday. “Given the increasing popularity of basketball and the Kings in India, we hope that this will be the first of many important business partnerships from the region.  As we strive to become India’s home team, we are proud to call The Krrish Group and Jimboy’s Tacos our partners.”

Several Sacramento Kings’ games have been broadcasted in India.

The Kings organization says they plan to announce more partnerships with Indian companies in 2014.
