The Nationalist Party expressed its condolences after the death of Gordon Cardona, a disabled person who for many years worked in favour of the rights of disabled people and their families.

In a statement issued by PN spokesman Stephen Spiteri, the party said Gordon always spoke in favour of equal opportunities for disabled people and that they are given the best quality of life.

In his role at the National Commission for Disabled Persons, Gordon used his intelligence to push the country to deal with disabled persons’ rights and not offer them help as a sign of charity.
