Ora is best known for her music career, including her breakout hit single “Hot Right Now,” which was the first of three consecutive No. 1 singles. Her debut studio album, Ora, came out in 2012, and she followed that up with a 12-date U.K. Radioactive Tour in January 2013.
Universal and Focus Features’ Fifty Shades of Grey also stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, a college student who falls for a mysterious and handsome billionaire, who reveals to her his world of S&M activities. Dornan was cast as Christian Grey after Charlie Hunnam dropped out of the role. The production began shooting on Dec. 2 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The cast is rounded out by Eloise Mumford, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Jennifer Ehle and Max Martini.

Based on EL James‘ popular erotic novels, Fifty Shades of Grey is produced by Michael de Luca and Dana Brunetti alongside James. Sam Taylor-Johnson is directing. Kelly Marcel wrote the initial draft of the screenplay with subsequent script work from Patrick Marber and Mark Bomback.
Ora’s acting credits include a role in the 2004 British film Spivs, and a cameo appearance in Fast & Furious 6. She also has had a presence in the fashion world, being selected as the face of Madonna‘s “Material Girl,” fashion line, and as the new face of Rimmel for 2014. She’s repped by Turn First Artists, and represented by CAA for film.
Fifty Shades of Grey is slated to hit theaters on Feb. 13, 2015.
