ABC has unveiled its fall 2014 schedule — and it’ll roll out its shows through early October.
Dancing With the Stars will kick off the network’s new season with a Monday, Sept. 15, debut, with ABC previewing new procedural Forever one week later, on Monday, Sept. 22, following the dance reality competition series. Dancing With the Stars will air two results shows, on Sept. 16 and 23 from 8-9 p.m. ET/PT. Forever, meanwhile, will officially make its time-period launch the next day, on Tuesday, Sept. 23, following the return of Agents of SHIELD.

Its Wednesday-night lineup, consisting of The Middle, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, freshman comedy Black-ish and Nashville, will kick off Sept. 24.
Shonda Rhimes‘ Thursday block, with veteran medical drama Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal moving one hour earlier to make room for the Viola Davis starrer How to Get Away With Murder, will launch Sept. 25.
Once Upon a Time, Resurrection and Revenge begin their seasons Sept. 28, while long-running procedural Castle receives a Sept. 29 start date. Rookie comedies Selfie, from Suburgatory‘s Emily Kapnek, and Manhattan Love Story will launch Sept. 30. New Friday night sitcom Cristela receives a late Oct. 10 premiere, following Last Man Standing, which returns one week prior, on Oct. 3.

ABC will continue its split-season approach this year, with fairy-tale musical comedy Galavant taking over Once Upon a Time‘s 8 p.m. Sunday slot, and Agent Carter taking over Agents of SHIELD‘s home in between breaks. Ryan Phillippe‘s Secrets & Lies will premiere following the run of How to Get Away With Murder in the 10 p.m. Thursday period.
