SACRAMENTO –

California Highway Patrol has arrested three people suspected of stealing a truck, and leading law enforcement on a high speed pursuit through four cities.

Police in Manteca attempted to stop a Ford F-150 stolen from Turlock before 11 p.m. Saturday night. The driver then took off, prompting a chase spanning through Manteca, Ripon, Modesto and Ceres.

The chase ended when the truck crashed into a white sedan, then slammed into a pole at the intersection of Tully Road and Briggsmore Avenue in Modesto.

All three suspects were arrested, with no reported injuries.
