As first reported by TVLine, the actress-singer will have a pivotal, multiple-episode role on the final season of the Kurt Sutter biker drama as Ms. Harrison, a straight-shooting preschool teacher of Jax’s (Charlie Hunnam) eldest son, Abel.
The role marks the former Hole singer’s acting comeback following her Golden Globe-nominated supporting role 1996’s The People vs. Larry Flynt. Her credits include Andy Kaufman biopic Man on the Moon and Kiefer Sutherland’s Beat.
Love joins rocker Marilyn Manson on Sons‘ final season. He will also recur, playing Ron Tully, a white supremacist prison shot-caller whom Jax uses to expand his power base.
Sons returns in September on FX.
