WOODLAND-
The Yolo County Superior Court announced that Aquelin Talamantes, the woman charged in the death of her daughter, will face new charges.
Talamantes now faces two felony counts of battery on a correction officer and one misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.
Officials did not release details regarding the alleged attack on the correctional officer.
Talamentes will be back in court Tuesday afternoon.
