Wiz Khalifa Gets Nas For “We Dem Boyz” Remix

Fresh off that Summer Jam stage, Wiz speaks with the Hot 97 Morning Show about all things Khalifa. He covered Rihanna being the inspiration for his recent mixtape 28 Grams, his smoke sessions with the pop star, embracing alternative music in his hip-hop and his recent jainhouse selfie. Wiz also spoke on wrapping up his album Blacc Hollywood and getting a heavyweight guest star for the "We Dem Boyz" remix.

Unveiling that Nas jumped on the  "We Dem Boyz" remix, Wiz went on to explain why he wanted rap royalty on his hit. "I can tell you guys I got Nas," the Taylor Gang leader said, "You know why I got Nas? Nas is the original bottle popper, designer clothes rocker, weed smoker, young fly n***a. He was doing all that. Spitting and he was putting it out there in a way that n***as never heard that before. I feel like our generation needs to resee that from Nas and know that. "

No word on when the remix will see the light of day. Wiz went on to explain that the remix is still in the building stages.
