SACRAMENTO-
Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies say a man was shot and killed Sunday evening in the parking lot of a Home Depot along Florin Road.
The shooter had left the scene before deputies could respond.
Investigators say the victim was a man in his late 40s, who was loading up his truck with purchases when he was shot.
Deputies believe the shooting was random, and that witnesses didn’t report any fight beforehand.
In the last three days, 14 people were shot in Sacramento. Two of those shootings were deadly.
