‘My beautiful baby sister’ Fifi Trixibelle leads tributes to Peaches Geldof

Her poignant words echo that of their father Bob Geldof who called the socialite the ‘wildest and wittiest’ among us. 

Fifi Trixibelle today posted a picture on her Instagram account of her and her sister pulling faces in the garden when they were younger, accompanied by a message which read: "My beautiful baby sister … Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x." 

Peaches' father Bob Geldof that the family was "beyond pain".

In a statement he said: "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.

"Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?

"We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.

"Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."

Tom Cohen, Peaches' husband and father of her two children, paid tribute to his "beloved" wife.

He said: ""My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. 

"We shall love her forever. 

This Morning host Phillip Schofield, who appeared with Ms Geldof on the ITV show, wrote: "Utterly stunned at the terrible news of the death of Peaches Geldof! The dreadful loss of a really lovely woman."

His co-host Holly Willoughby said: "Just heard about Peaches, so unbelievably tragic. So shocked and sad. Sending my thoughts and love to her family".

Singer Ellie Goulding said: "Even if you think you've got it all figured out, some things still can't be explained or understood. Two beautiful children. RIP Peaches".

Her friend the model Daisy Lowe posted a picture of a broken heart on Twitter.

Sharon Osborne wrote: "Devastated about @peaches_g. Sending condolences & respect to the Geldof family. It's unimaginable what they must be going through right now."

Lily Allen said: "My thoughts are with Peaches' family at this awful time. I hope they get to grieve in peace. Peaches, rest in peace gorgeous girl".

Coronation Street star Antony Cotton said: "May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest".

Spandau Baller star Martin Kemp tweeted: "RIP Peaches Geldof, what do you say, my heart goes out to Bob and all his family, I truly am saddened by this horrible news!"

Model Daisy Lowe posted a picture of a broken heart on Twitter.

Coleen Rooney, wife of England footballer Wayne, tweeted: "Can't believe what I have just heard. RIP Peaches Geldof, such sad news."

Comedian Dom Joly wrote: "Had my run-ins with Peaches Geldof in the past but what awful, sad news."

Presenter Myleene Klass tweeted: "The news of beautiful Peaches is utterly devastating, God bless her babies. RIP mama xxx"

Author Irvine Welsh added: "Very sad to hear of the tragic, untimely death of Peaches Geldof. Thoughts with Bob G and the family."

Rapper Professor Green told fans on Twitter: "never knew Peaches but the loss of a life so young is a horrible thing, especially leaving behind two children".

Alexandra Burke said:" I can't believe Peaches has passed away..in feel so numb. I've never met anyone so kind before. She was a beautiful person". 

X-Factor supremo Simon Cowell tweeted: "So sad to hear about Peaches. Rest in peace."

He said later: "The few times I met Peaches she was a sweet, funny warm person. Much love to her family she has left behind."
