Atherton's Bellis loses in French Open girls doubles final

It's ridiculous that a Grand Slam title can be determined by a match tiebreaker.
Even if it's in the juniors. And even if it's in doubles.
For that matter, it's ridiculous that a match tiebreaker is ever used.
Seventh-seeded CiCi Bellis of Atherton in the San Francisco Bay Area and Marketa Vondrousova of the Czech Republic lost to unseeded Ioana Ducu and Ioana Loredana Rosca of Romania 6-1, 5-7 [11-9] today in the French Open girls doubles final in Paris.
It was the first Grand Slam final in singles or doubles for Bellis, a 15-year-old right-hander, and Vondrousova, a 14-year-old left-hander. Bellis was the only American finalist in any category in the French Open.
Vondrousova reached the girls singles semifinals, defeating Bellis in the third round.
