The Cosumnes Fire Department reported several grass fires Sunday afternoon in Galt.
Three fires were reported near Twin Cities and Christensen Road, and Christensen and Pringle Road.
Firefighters said more than one involved down powerlines.
The largest fire, contained at 25 acres, threatened a few outbuildings, according to firefighters.
Causes of the fires were not immediately known.
