WOODLAND—

There have been 6 robberies in 2 weeks, and the Woodland Police Department is searching for 1 suspect who they believe is responsible for all of them.

All 6 robberies took place between July 7th and July 19th. After robbing Razz Yogurt Shop, Sally’s Beauty Supply, and College Drive-in Cleaners, the suspect allegedly robbed a Papa Murphy’s Pizza, a Jack in the Box, and a Jimboy’s Tacos. All of the robberies occurred in downtown Woodland.

Since Monday, July 7th, the 6 robberies have happened in various business types but all have taken place within shopping centers. The last 3 robberies occurred at fast-food restaurants. The robberies have usually taken place between 3 and 6 p.m. but one happened around 8:30 in the morning.

Despite the variance in the crimes, police have talked to victims of the robbery and believe there is 1 suspect and he appears to be working alone. The suspect implies a gun is concealed under his shirt but never displays one. He consistently covers his nose and mouth before entering to rob the place. He always wears sunglasses, shorts, and different colored baseball caps, and leaves on a bicycle.

If you have any information regarding this suspect, recent robbery incidents, or observe suspicious activity similar to the robberies listed above, you can call the Woodland Police Department at (530) 661-2414.
