Bill O'Reilly Says Conservatives Won't Watch Stephen Colbert

Bill O'Reilly Goes After Colbert AGAIN

Bill O'Reilly is still not done going after Stephen Colbert.

The Fox News host took another stab at Colbert Monday night, this time in response to the news that Colbert will replace David Letterman as the host of the "Late Show."

"It'd be hard to fathom that 40 percent of Americans that describe themselves as conservative will watch Colbert,” he said. "And that's a lot of folks to lose."

Shortly before it was announced last Thursday that Colbert would take over for Letterman, O'Reilly told his viewers that Colbert was an "ideological fanatic" and a "deceiver," and suggested that Colbert was behind the destruction of America.

But O'Reilly toned it down a bit Monday night, this time saying that Colbert was an "interesting choice" to replace Letterman. He questioned whether Colbert would be able to compete with the "high-energy guys" on late night like Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon.

"Place your bets now," O'Reilly said.
