NEW DELHI: Panasonic has launched its new smartphone, Eluga U, at Rs 18,990. The phone will be available in black and white colour variants starting first week of August.
The phone sports a 5-inch OGS IPS display(720x1280p) with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It features a unibody design and a glass back panel that has a mirror printed texture. It weighs 141gram and is 7.95mm thick.
Powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor and 2GB RAM, the phone has 16GB storage expandable via microSD card and a 2500mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with Panasonic's Fit Home UI which, as per the company facilitates single hand operation. It comes with software features such as Kwik Lock( double tap to unlock), Pop-i player, Music cafe and Gesture play.
Panasonic Eluga U sports a 13MP rear camera (supports 1080p recording), with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.
In terms of connectivity, the dual-sim phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
