ELK GROVE-
A substitute teacher at Prairie Elementary School in Elk Grove was escorted off campus Tuesday after reportedly looking at inappropriate images on a school computer in class.
A parent of a child at the school says this happened in a first grade classroom, and that the images were apparently pornographic.
Elk Grove Unified School District spokesperson Liz Graswitch says a student caught the teacher. Graswitch added that the teacher was “released” from the district, and won’t sub again for Elk Grove Unified.
The teacher is not under arrest, but the district is looking at the computer to see what exactly the teacher was viewing.
