Director and So You Think You Can Dance judge Adam Shankman has checked in to rehab, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
“His friends and family support him and wish him well on his journey to recovery,” his rep said in a statement provided to Us Weekly, which first reported the news. It’s unknown what the director is seeking treatment for.

Shankman’s rehab stint follows that of his former Hairspray star and friend Zac Efron, who reportedly received treatment earlier this year.
Shankman recently directed and executive produced the Rock of Ages movie and produced the Step Up series of films. On the TV side, he’s directed episodes of Glee and Modern Family.
