Two men from California were called out in the Ice Bucket Challenge, but put a drought-friendly twist on it.

They call it the Dirt Bucket Challenge, and it’s exactly what it sounds like.

The rules of the challenge are to accept the challenge within 24 of being “called out,” donate money to an Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) research charity, dump a bucket of ice water (or dirt, if you wish to conserve water) on your head, call out more people and post the video online.

The two men in the video, uploaded by YouTuber “C Dub” also used the opportunity to encourage donations to Canine Companions for Independence.

Actor Michael Rooker (“The Walking Dead”, “Guardians of the Galaxy” also mentioned the drought in his video, and proceeded to use a bucket of just ice from his septic system.
