ROCKLIN-

Rocklin Police arrest a man Wednesday morning suspected of embezzling thousands of dollars from a non-profit where he worked as treasurer.

Frederick Lacker, of the Rocklin Academy Parent School Partnership Association, was the subject of a weeks-long investigation starting April 1.

Lacker is accused of embezzling more than $37,000 from the group. He turned himself into Rocklin Police around 9 a.m. Wednesday, officers said.

He was booked into the Placer County Jail in Auburn for burglary and embezzlement.
