Romantic Fiction Author Rusty Blackwood Continues to Campaign with One day to Go!!

I suppose some would think it terribly cheeky to ask for votes for one’s work — maybe it is — but when you write a book you find that what you think you’d never do suddenly becomes front of the line and you do it! I can only speak for myself, but I’m sure what I say would be agreed upon by most all writers out there especially when I speak about the time consumption involved in writing a book — be it a full scale novel, a short story, or a poem — the sweat and hard work involved in its making, and the joy it brings upon completion. It took me a very long time to write Passions in Paris and the time involved in bringing notice to it, continuing to get it out there, and keeping it before the public eye. It is a never ending task, but one that I take great pride in continuing.

Tomorrow, May 18th, marks the last day of voting for your favorite in Indie Author Land’s 50 Self Published Books Worth Reading (2013/14), and I have been humbly asking for support of my poignant romance drama ‘Passions in Paris’ since it was nominated into the top 50 competing in this contest. My novel is in the romance genre, but there are many genre divisions, and many worthy titles within each.

This has been a well fought race, and I extend my best wishes to all whose well-written work has garnered interest and support. Self-published books are well worth the time involved to take a look, and have a read. Please take time to cast your vote. You may vote up to 4 times a day by putting a few hours between each vote, but the main thing is you vote, and again I humbly ask for your support for my novel by taking this provided link to the romance division of this contest.
