John Ondrasik, Jordin Sparks and the USC Trojan Marching Band will join Kiss as performers at the Jan. 25 outdoor hockey game between the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks at Dodger Stadium.
STORY: KISS to Rock LA’s First-Ever Outdoor Hockey Game at Dodger Stadium
Sparks, an actress and the 2007 American Idol winner, will sing the U.S. national anthem. Ondrasik – aka Five for Fighting and a longtime Kings fan who has written for the team’s website — will perform during the second intermission of the first NHL outdoor game in California. And as the Kings and the Ducks make their way to the rink set up on the baseball field, the USC Trojan Marching Band will provide musical accompaniment.
As previously announced, Kiss with perform before the game and during the first intermission. Bandmates Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons promoted the gig when they dropped the puck at the Kings game against the Minnesota Wild at Staples Center on Tuesday night, and the Kings’ Ice Crew sported Kiss makeup during the contest.
The Jan. 25 performances will take place on two stages on the field. One stage will feature a design created by Los Angeles art legend Mister Cartoon with the help from his pupils at Para Los Ninos, a local nonprofit organization that provides education, family support services and community engagement programs to 7,500 children and families each year.

The Kings-Ducks contest, part of the NHL’s Coors Light Stadium Series, will be the first outdoor regular-season NHL game played in the U.S. west of the Mississippi and the southern-most outdoor game ever.
