J.J. Abrams just can’t help himself.
In a hand-written note tweeted out via the @Bad_Robot Twitter account, the Star Wars: Episode VII director shared his thoughts on the announcement of the Apple Watch — but look at the reflection on the table beneath the note. Doesn’t that pattern look a little … familiar?

If not, perhaps you need to watch the first Star Wars movie again. Here’s a hint:
Yes, Abrams appears to be suggesting that Episode VII will feature a Death Star in some form (or, at least, something with decor inspired by the Death Star — it’s worth noting, however, that the Star Destroyers and other Imperial vehicles didn’t share that particular design). Of course, whether this means we’ll be seeing a brand-new Death Star or a flashback to one we already know about remains to be seen.
If there is a Death Star in the new movie, it wouldn’t be the only familiar spaceship to show up in the movie, as one high-flying fan discovered this weekend:

Matthew Myatt, the photographer responsible for that picture, told the BBC that he hadn’t even realized what he was flying over until later. “It wasn’t until I got back last night and started going through the images that it just jumped out at me,” he said. “I was quite stunned. It was like, ‘wow.’ That’s how the picture came about, purely by luck.”
Star Wars: Episode VII, which features original cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford, will be released in December 2015. Apparently, it’ll be quite the nostalgic experience.
