After two weeks of harmonious competition, The Sing-Off named its season-four winner during its holiday-themed, two-hour finale Monday night.

The seventh episode of the revived a cappella reality show featured Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo singing their 1984 hit “We Belong,” and welcomed back season-three winners Pentatonix to the stage for Calvin Harris‘ and Ellie Goulding‘s “I Need Your Love,” after the electro-infused quintet won in 2011.
Sing-Off host Nick Lachey also was joined by his fellow 98 Degrees members for “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” and serenaded the season’s new judge Jewel into a duet of “It Had to Be You.”
At the end of the episode, the season-four winner was crowned: Home Free, the professional country group consisting of Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Chris Rupp, Tim Foust and Adam Rupp, took the top honor. The all-male group from Minneapolis is the first country group to ever compete on The Sing-Off stage, and consistently wowed audiences with their arrangements of Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise,” Rascal Flatts’ “Life Is a Highway,” Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire,” Roy Orbison’s “Pretty Woman” and Zac Brown Band’s “Colder Weather.” The prize includes $100,000 and a Sony Music recording deal, which means adding another to the group’s collection of already-recorded albums.
Second place was claimed by Ten, the gospel-inspired collective of backup singers and soloists who formed to compete on The Sing-Off. Vocal Rush, the performing arts high school group led by Lisa Forkish (the former musical director of Divisi, who inspired both the Pitch Perfect book and film), came in third.

Besides the last competition performances — Home Free with Hunter Hayes‘ “I Want Crazy,” Vocal Rush with Katy Perry‘s “Roar” and Ten with Beyonce’s “Love on Top” — the episode also featured holiday-themed songs by each of the final groups with one of the judges: Jewel sang “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” with Home Free, Shawn Stockman took the stage for “Joyful Joyful” with Ten, and Ben Folds joined Vocal Rush for “Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth.” The three finalists kicked off the episode with an impressive arrangement of Michael Jackson‘s “Man in the Mirror” along with the seven previously eliminated groups.
