blueprints, prototype after prototype, tweaked and tested everything, including grip, magnetic power, breathability, durability, comfort, and street

Why Crowdfunding?
As kids we all
dream of growing up to be an astronaut. The 20:16 MoonWalker is a step toward
making the ultimate fantasy a larger-than-life reality. The main purpose of
this crowdfunding campaign is to inspire the dreamer in you: that little kid
who looks up at the moon every night believing in the power of his/her own
footprint.
While we
understand we aren’t saving the world, we have created something revolutionary
in the world of footwear. While we might not be rocket scientists building
Mars-bound spaceships, we are
planning, designing, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and producing a
product that we hope will enrich your lives. This requires a certain amount of
funding, and while we have done our best to cover as many costs as we can, there
are some aspects that we need some assistance with. This is where we could use
your help.
Just as NASA
doesn’t send astronauts into space without a valuable team and top-of-the-line
equipment, we have no intentions of sending out a sub-par product and we need
you to help out as part of our team. If this inspires you as much as it does

What about my size, color, and quantity preference?
When the campaign ends, you will receive an e-mail to register at our website asking for specific information, such as colors, sizes, and quantity.

When will

ship? We plan to ship all MoonWalkers (backed here) beginning mid-August so that you may enjoy them all summer long!

Will the 20:16 MoonWalker come in differences
shoe sizes? Of course. The choice about different shoe sizes will be presented after the campaign as a survey.

Will the 20:16 MoonWalker be available in
children's sizes? No, for now. The smallest will be 36 in Euro size for ladies and gents, and the biggest size will be 47,5 in Euro size.

ABOUT DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS or being a Distributor or having the rights to sell MWs:
As of now, we're focusing on the live campaign. We will open a web shop to sell the shoes exclusively in the first half of 2017. After that, we will try to reach more people and broaden our distribution channels by making exclusive agreements.
Is there a system on these shoes to tighten them somehow?
In order to make our shoes comfortable and versatile for a wide range of sizes and widths of feet, we chose not to include laces. This allows the shoes to stretch as needed and fit like a glove (or a perfect-fit shoe!). After the campaign is complete, every backer will receive a survey to identify his/her size, width, color, and other options.

What is the difference between MW V1 & MW V2? V1 has no e-paper (E-Ink) feature.
Can the 20:16
MoonWalker get wet? Are they waterproof? Yes, they can get wet. They are water resistant, but as they "breathe" they are NOT waterproof.
How can I
clean up my 20:16 MoonWalker? Are
they machine washable? No, they are not machine washable. Spot clean only.
I’m an
international backer. Can you ship the
20:16 MoonWalker to my country? Sure thing. Also for a limited time, starting from the campaign's launch here (and in quantity) all international and national shippings will be FREE!
Can I
become a distributor of the 20:16 MoonWalker? Yes, but first we need to complete the campaign successfully before we begin mass production.
Is NASA
somehow involved with the development of the 20:16 MoonWalker? No.
In what way is the MoonWalker better than a regular shoe? We say "better," even though that's not too objective. Try them out and see for yourself!

Is there a weight limit for the MoonWalker shoes? No. It's like a regular shoe in principle, but for the "magnetic" (the main basic feature of MW) to work best it's better to be less than 286 pounds (~130 Kgs).
Can you run in the MoonWalker shoe? Yes, but they are not meant to be running shoes.
