Half a dozen iconic images from popular films, television shows, art, and music have been captured in a video that's less than a minute long. The 50-second spot was created by advertising company Grey to promote the culture section in the UK's Sunday Times, and manages to pull together six moments from these different mediums in one, uninterrupted take. The end result includes recent fixtures like Mad Men, to Forrest Gump, Reservoir Dogs, and Daft Punk. That's joined by a silhouette shot of Rodin's The Thinker, as well as a closeup of Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam.

While not quite the insane complexity of a typical OK Go music video, it wasn't easy either. To illustrate that, its creators made a quick behind the scenes look at what was going on all around the camera during the shoot, which shows the full scope of the operation:

Earlier drafts for the video called for some alternate picks, including work from Banksy, Bryan Cranston's character Walter White from Breaking Bad, and German electronic music group Kraftwerk. The video's creators say they instead chose to go with what was happening in 2014.
