ROSEVILLE-
Eric Kurth spends his days watching weather patterns and predicting storms, on Wednesday he found himself about a mile away from where a tornado touched down in Roseville.
“It was a combination of fear for my neighbors and the excitement of this happening right in front of me,” Kurth told FOX40.
Kurth was the first member of the National Weather Service to survey the damage on Fillingham Lane in Roseville Wednesday night.
“The eye witness testimony and the damage of what was clearly flung objects, indicated tornado,” Kurth said.
Wednesday’s tornado was an E F Zero, with a damage path of a few hundred yards and about 15 yards wide.
About 12 homes on Fillingham Lane were damaged, mostly with shattered windows and broken fences, nobody was injured.
