528j9 — This is a sketch of a man who deputies say attacked a woman jogging along the Arcade Creek Trail.

CARMICHAEL-

A jogger fought off a man who was allegedly trying to sexually assault her while she was on a trail in Carmichael.

The woman, only described as being in her late 20s, was running along the Arcade Creek Trail near Garfield Avenue last Friday. She told Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies a man riding a mountain bike approached her from behind, pushing her to the ground.

The man wrestled with her, trying to sexually assault her, when she was able to get free and run away.

The woman was able to give deputies detailed information about what the man looked like, and created a sketch of the man.
