SACRAMENTO-

Sacramento Police arrested a man for yelling at a parking control officer and throwing his ticket back at them.

The reported assault happened on the corner of 24th Street and 24th Avenue at around 6 p.m. on Sunday.

After the man saw his ticket, reports indicate he yelled at the parking agent, threw his ticket at them, and stood in front of the officer’s car to stop them from leaving.

Sacramento Police identified the man as 24-year-old Jake Thomas.

Once officers arrived, Thomas was ultimately arrested for assault, delaying and obstructing in an officer’s duties, and for violating his probation.
