STOCKTON-
Evacuations are underway at the El Dorado Apartments complex near Interstate 5 and Matthews Road because of a grass fire.
Highway Patrol cited heavy smoke as the reason for the evacuations.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
Northbound lanes of El Dorado Road were shut down.
