Kanye West has a reputation for being brash, unfriendly, and quick to anger, but deep down, he's just a friendly guy who will sign your Air Yeezys if you ask politely. On Monday in Paris, one fan found out that he'll even tell you they're of dubious provenance, then sign the counterfeit shoes anyway. Yeezus is nothing if not a gentleman.
"These are not real, though," Kanye says to the saddest man on earth, in an Instagram video captured by one intrepid Kimye-watcher. "You know that, right?" The man did not. "It's fine though," Kanye replied beatifically. "I love you enough to sign your imposter shoes." OK, fine, he didn't say that last line, but he probably thought it.
What a happy ending for this hapless kid. His worthless shoes are now probably worth something! His idol likely still thinks he's a sucker, though.
