ALTURAS –
Officials have released the mugshot of Cherie Rhoades, the woman who is accused of shooting at family members and others in the Cedarville Rancherita Tribal Office in Modoc County this week.
Investigators say Rhoades opened fire during an eviction hearing, in which her future to remain on the reservation was being debated.
Four people were killed, and two were injured.
She was initially being held at the Modoc County jail, but was moved for safety reasons according to officers. It was also revealed one of her victims was married to a jail employee.
