Bachelor in Paradise — ABC’s next iteration of The Bachelor — opened on Monday night to a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 and 5 million viewers. It was on par, though not quite as strong, with the most recent season of now-cancelled Bachelor Pad in 2013 — a similar reunion of past castmembers from the franchise.
Mistresses (0.9 adults) held steady with its softer lead-in.

Running Wild With Bear Grylls (1.3 adults) held onto last week’s premiere score for NBC, and American Ninja Warrior (1.9 adults) was steady for a close second-place to MasterChef.
Both Under the Dome (1.6 adults) and Whose Line Is It Anyway (0.6 adults) also finished even on CBS and The CW, respectively.
