TNT’s Perception is adding an FBI guy.
Cold Case star Thom Barry has booked a guest-starring gig in the third season of the hourlong procedural, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Barry will play Special Agent in Charge William Parsons, a skeptical and no-nonsense special agent in command of the Chicago FBI office and Kate Moretti’s (Rachael Leigh Cook) boss. He is best known for playing Detective Will Jeffries on CBS’ Cold Case.
Perception follows an eccentric neuroscience professor who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases. Eric McCormack, Cook, Arjay Smith, Kelly Rowan and LeVar Burton star in the series, which adds Scott Wolf to the fold.
Barry is repped by Prestige Talent Agency and Luber Roklin. Other TV credits have included guest stints on Grey’s Anatomy, Blue Bloods and House, as well as The West Wing and The Practice.
Perception premieres June 17 on TNT.
