Are you ready for some … politics? Fox is gearing up for the Super Bowl by airing a live pregame interview with President Obama.
Fox News Channel announced Thursday that Obama will have a live sit-down with Bill O’Reilly on its broadcast sister net, beginning approximately at 4:30 p.m. ET on Super Bowl Sunday. The interview will take place at the White House, with an additional taped portion set for the Feb. 3 episode of The O’Reilly Factor.
The pregame sit-down is something of a Super Bowl tradition. Last year’s interview, which aired on CBS, was done by Scott Pelley. Duties fall to Fox News Channel this year, as Fox, the broadcast network, does not have a news division like the rest of the Big Four.
This marks O’Reilly’s third interview with President Obama. He has not had a sit-down with the commander-in-chief since 2011. After the The O’Reilly Factor airing, the entire discussion will be available online at the Fox News website.
