It’s the clash that fans have been hoping for since Disney bought Lucasfilm in 2012 — but, sadly, Star Wars vs. Marvel didn’t unfold onscreen or in the pages of a series of comic books (Wait until sometime after 2015, when Marvel takes over the Star Wars comic license for that one). Instead, it all happened on Twitter. Blame bored social media editors.
It started in a very simple, unassuming manner:

Seriously, at some point, there’s really going to be a Marvel/Star Wars crossover, isn’t there? The hunger is clearly there.
