A+E Networks’ lifestyle network FYI, the channel replacing Bio Channel, has appointed two development executives.
Liz Fine and James Bolosh have been tapped as vp development and programming, Jana Bennett, president of FYI and LMN announced Thursday. Both report to Gena McCarthy, senior vp programming at FYI. Their appointments are effective immediately.
“Liz and James are exceptionally talented programming executives that bring a proven track record from across our industry. Their experience in developing and creating hit shows will be instrumental as we build FYI into a powerful platform. I am absolutely thrilled to have them join the team,” said Bennett.
Prior to joining the company, Fine was co-executive producer for Atlas Media Corp and Left/Right, where she co-produced Mob Wives. She also helped format Parking Wars’ first season and worked on Chopped, The City and Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style.
Bolosh comes with years of experience from HGTV, MTV, VH1 and CNBC, among other networks. He has developed shows like House Hunters International, HGTV Design Star, Designed to Sell, FriendZone, Driven and The Profit.
The new FYI will debut this summer. Described as a contemporary lifestyle network, FYI will focus on programming that reflects how people live their lives in the modern day. The network is available in nearly 70 million U.S. homes and is developing more than 30 projects.
