Ana Madera described the relationship she once had with her parents as close — that is, until she says Javier Posada moved into her parents home last October.

Shortly after, Madera says her parents stopped talking to her and her brothers and sisters.

“He has broken our family to the point where my parents do not care about my oldest brother, who has cancer. We are worried about him,” said Madera.

Madera believes Posada, who claims to be an ordained Bishop by the Old Catholic Church, brainwashed her parents and anyone he comes to know him for financial gain.

“He prays over people when he does masses in their houses and he expects money,” said Madera.

Madera began doing research and learned that Posada, who once claimed to be a Franciscan (which is associated with the Roman Catholic Church), had no ties to the church at all. But, Posada claims he never told anyone he was a Roman Catholic.

Posada says he has always been a part of the Old Catholic Church, a form of Catholicism that does not follow the pope.

Posada showed FOX40 documents of training he received from his home country of Columbia, along with documents showing he was recently ordained a Bishop by the Old Catholic Church.
