As Beyonce and Jay Z continue to top the charts with “Drunk in Love” — their latest collaboration that kicked off the Grammys with a bang last month — other hip-hop names are hoping to get in on the action.

Newly released remixes of the singer’s second single off her self-titled album feature verses by Kanye West, The Weeknd and T.I., each featuring a beat distinct from the original, or any other, version. Diplo and DJ Ted Smooth have also shared their electro-infused versions over the Valentine’s Day weekend.
West begins the remix with his verse, which, after a few graphic descriptions, references Kim Kardashian with lines like “I impregnated your mouth, girl, that’s when I knew you can be my spouse, girl” and “I put you on that bike, you ‘Bound’ girl,” pointing to his “Bound 2” video. The song also features more bass and a phrase from West’s 2007 hit “Flashing Lights,” just after Beyonce sings it.

T.I. also begins his rendition with his verse, filled with his own share of metaphors for the song’s subject. The “Watch the Duck EDM – Trap Remix” by DJ MLK also includes a much fuller background, with percussion and repeats of the voice singing in the original’s first few measures.

The Weeknd puts his smooth tenor on his remix, which should really be considered a cover, as he rewrites the lyrics to not only tell the “Drunk in Love” story from a male perspective (“My tongue got superpowers, I woke up in the morning, models passed out in the shower”), but also highlight points from his musical career (“Did an album just to do it, dropping albums like a pill”). Still, he keeps a few key lines from the singer’s original.

Diplo, who worked with The Weeknd on Sia‘s “Elastic Heart” track for the Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack, shared his own version of the hit, sprinkled with breaks and drops but still very true to the original.

For his remix, DJ Ted Smooth instead chose to mix Beyonce and Jay Z’s Grammy performance and layer it over the haunting piano keys of A$AP Ferg‘s “Work.” This version also rearranges the sequence of the song.
