NBC has made the first episode of romantic comedy A to Z available ahead of the October premiere.
Through a pact with Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio, an extended version of the pilot — 90 seconds longer than what will air on NBC on Thursday, Oct. 2, at 9:30 p.m. following Bad Judge — is available for viewing starting today on various platforms: iHeartRadio.com, NBC.com, Hulu, Xfinity, iHeartRadio app, NBC app, NBC-owned and affiliate station websites, and cable, satellite and telco providers on demand and online.
A to Z will also receive a heavy promotional push on iHeartRadio’s radio stations on-air on and their websites, mobile destinations and social networks throughout the U.S., with Clear Channel radio personality Ryan Seacrest also is driving awareness to the early preview.
“NBC is very excited to partner with Clear Channel on this first-ever digital opportunity that will give viewers and audiences a chance to fall in love early with A to Z,” said Len Fogge, president of marketing and digital at NBC Entertainment. “Viewers today love to customize their viewing experience — deciding not only what to watch, but when and how — and we couldn’t imagine a more fitting project than A to Z to debut in this innovative way.”
Ben Feldman, Cristin Milioti, Henry Zebrowski, Lenora Crichlow and Christina Kirk star in the half-hour series narrated by Katey Sagal.
