‘FEELIN” GOOD: “See You Tonight,” the first single from Scotty McCreery’s sophomore album of the same name, has had such a long run on the Billboard country charts that the season 10 champ’s label has understandingly been reluctant to release a follow-up. Now, after 32 weeks on the charts, there is finally a new single from the 20-year-old North Carolinian. “Feelin’ It,” which has been described as a “summertime romp,” is a new entry on the Country Airplay chart at No. 54.
McCreery’s first single was “I Love You This Big,” which he sang on his Idol season finale. Then came “The Trouble With Girls” and “Water Tower Town.” All three singles were taken from his debut album, Clear as Day.

TIME TO ‘CELEBRATE’: Another season 10 alum is also having a great chart week. James Durbin’s second album, Celebrate, debuts on four Billboard charts. The highest ranking is on Top Rock Albums, where it bows at No. 14. On Top Internet Albums, the set enters at No. 21. Durbin’s sophomore set is also new on Top Current Albums (at No. 78) and The Billboard 200 (at No. 83).
This is Durbin’s third album to chart. He made his Billboard debut the week of July 16, 2011, with American Idol Season 10 Highlights: James Durbin, an EP that peaked at No. 31. Then Durbin signed with the independent Wind-up label, the same imprint that released albums by Creed and Evanescence. His debut album for the label, Memories of a Beautiful Disaster, peaked at No. 36 in December 2011.
On Top Rock Albums, Durbin’s EP peaked at No. 7 and his first Wind-up release topped out at No. 8.
